Simple Cavemen’s evolution into recording act almost complete…

It’s like Christmas this week for the Cavemen, who hit the pillows each night with visions of the band’s newly delivered debut album dancing in their heads. The band expects to have the discs, adorned with the eye-catching photography of Karen Bove, in hand by week’s end.

Recorded with producer Timmy Kelliher at his Hippie House studio in Orlando, the album features definitive studio versions of six cavemen originals, including signature songs such as “Disaster,” “Canyon Full of Tears” and “Texas Wind.” There’s also a glorious hillbilly, hootenanny, hoedown finale covering one of the band’s major influences.

An official CD release show is being scheduled, so look for the details soon. Meanwhile, the band will be back at the fabulous Yalaha Bakery from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 10.
