Jimmy Carl set list: Yalaha Bakery, Aug. 4

Many thanks to the kind folks who spent time on Sunday in the courtyard at Yalaha Bakery. It was especially nice to see a couple of longtime friends in the mix, too.

The set list included a few new wrinkles, including first-time covers of Neil Young’s “Powderfinger” and Nick Lowe’s “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding.”

Jimmy Carl also debuted a new original song, “Millicent Moncrief,” about a character who is difficult, to be sure.
