The Simple Cavemen return to Yalaha Bakery

You know why bands like to play at a bakery, right?

For the punch line to that well-worn joke, come out to see those dreamy Cavemen on Saturday at Yalaha Bakery in lovely Lake County. The Simple Cavemen return for another afternoon performance from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the courtyard.

Have a bratwurst and a beer. Sample a pastry. Sing along.

Hey, the jokes might be old, but the band is coming with a lot of new music, including freshly rehearsed original songs and an assortment of covers done in porch-friendly Cavemen style.

Please join us if you can.

Thank you from the Simple Cavemen

Those dreamy Cavemen are overwhelmed by the enthusiastic support at the band’s CD release show at Stardust Video & Coffee. Thanks much to the friends, family and fans for coming out.

Also, a big thanks to the guest musicians — Satch Dixon, Jack Bove, Brian Chodorcoff and Timmy Kelliher — for contributing to the fun. We’re also grateful to Bob Gardner for mixing the sound and to the fine Stardust staff for being so terrific.

If you didn’t make the show, but you’d like a copy of the debut release, you can order one in the new merch section here on the band’s official website. Just look for the “Get the Goods” tab on the top of the page. You can find an official sticker there, too.

The Cavemen will be playing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 at Yalaha Bakery, so come and join us if you can.
